Welcome Reception

February 13th

Registration includes a Welcome Reception on Wednesday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm in the Camelot room. This reception will include finger food and a drink (cash bar will also be available).

ASBHM Peers Connect Mentoring Lunch

14th of February

ASBHM Peers Connect would like to invite conference attendees who are currently studying a Masters or PhD, or who are within 5 years of graduating from a Masters or PhD to a mentor lunch being held during the ASBHM conference in Christchurch, NZ.

Bring your lunch (and questions!) along to this excellent mentoring opportunity where attendees will be placed into small groups with leading academics attending the conference. This will be a rare opportunity for you to ask questions and learn from leaders in the field.

Please think about any questions you would like to ask the mentors before the event, this way you can get the most out of your time with the mentors.

Where: Conference venue (room: Great Hall 2)

When: 12PM on the 14th of February

Cost: Free (please pick up your lunch from the South Gallery room before arriving)

Conference Dinner

February 14th

Note: The conference dinner is not included in conference registration.

The conference dinner is a fantastic opportunity to mingle with other delegates and our Keynote presenters in a casual environment.

The dinner will be held at DuxDine on Thursday 14th of February at 7pm. The dinner costs AU $50 per person and is open to both conference delegates and non-attendees travelling with delegates.  Attendees must have pre-purchased a ticket via the ASBHM website.

DuxDine (28 Riccarton Road, Christchurch) is located within easy walking distance of the hotel. We will be gathering at the entrance of the conference hotel (Chateau on the Park) at 6.45pm, or you can meet us at the restaurant at 7pm.

Farewell Reception

February 15th

Registration includes the Farewell Reception at the conclusion of the conference on Friday from 3:15pm to 4:15 in the South Gallery or Poolside Courtyard (depending on weather). This reception will include finger food and a drink (cash bar will also be available).
