ASBHM 2025 Conference Venue
Southern Cross University’s Gold Coast campus is located at Coolangatta, just 400 metres from North Kirra Beach and adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport. Situated at the southern end of the Gold Coast, the campus is about 30 minutes’ drive from major shopping, entertainment and beach precincts such as Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Light rail connects to other points of the city. To the south of our campus, the coastal and hinterland delights of northern New South Wales are within ready access.

Conference Presentation Space
Views of the Pacific Ocean and Gold Coast Hinterland can be enjoyed from many vantage points in the campus buildings. ASBHM 2025 will be held across three SCU event spaces, including the top floor of building ‘A’ overlooking the ocean

Transport to ASBHM 2025
Arrive via Gold Coast airport: The SCU Gold Coast campus which is the location of ASBHM 2025, is adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta) which is serviced by domestic and international flights. For more information about the Gold Coast airport, see here.
Arrive via Brisbane (to Gold Coast campus): Brisbane is located an hour and a half north of the Gold Coast campus and is the main international airport servicing South East Queensland. Brisbane International airport is connected by fast access using the Pacific Motorway and AirTrain, providing a seamless connection to the Gold Coast.
About Coolangatta
Coolangatta is a coastal suburb on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Thirty minutes drive down the coast from Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta is the Gold Coast’s southernmost suburb and borders New South Wales. Coolangatta has pristine beaches with clear water perfect for swimming, fishing, and diving.
Coolangatta has excellent restaurants, and a slightly slower pace of life. This region is renowned for its casual coastal culture.
