The International Journal of Behavioral Medicine (IJBM) and Springer Nature are pleased to announce a call for submissions for the Behavioral Medicine Publication Excellence Award.
Three awards for the best manuscript published in IJBM between July 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020 will be offered. One award is open to all, while one is designated for a trainee or post-doc and one for an early career professional (less than 7 years post-degree).
The awards will be presented at the Opening Ceremonies of the International Congress of Behavioral Medicine in Glasgow, Scotland August 19-22, 2020 (https://www.kc-jones.co.uk/icbm2020). The awarded manuscripts will also be highlighted in the IJBM and receive a prize of $500.
GUIDELINES:
- Manuscripts may cover research on any topic in behavioral medicine, as described in the journal’s mission statement and instructions to authors. https://link.springer.com/journal/12529
- Manuscripts may be a Systematic Review, Meta-Analysis, or Original Research Article. (Commentaries and Brief Reports will not be considered.)
- All manuscripts will undergo standard scientific peer review in accordance with journal procedures and be published in IJBM. Award consideration will be conducted by IJBM Associate Editors and Editors-in- Chief.
TO BE CONSIDERED:
Have a manuscript reviewed or published in IJBM between July 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020 and either indicate in your submission cover letter that you would like to be considered for the award or email IJBM@hunter.cuny.edu to inform the editors that you would like to be considered for the award.
You can also nominate a manuscript published in IJBM between July 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020 by emailing IJBM@hunter.cuny.edu.
If you would like the manuscript to be considered for the trainee/post-doc award or early career award, please indicate this in your correspondence.
